Program Description:
Since partnering with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), Y.E.E.S. W.E. C.A.N. holds regular biweekly sessions during the school year on the UMES campus. Instruction includes subjects and concepts such as aviation science, drone pilot training, coding lessons, computer hardware, electronics and robotic projects, 3D printing, cybersecurity, financial literacy and individual/team leadership development activities as well as AI and gaming. Additionally, basic, standard and advanced mathematics classes are required for every Elite in the program.
Our Program is funded by generous donations and therefore free to our underserved youth population.
